The Tampa Bay AirFest kicks off this weekend at MacDill Air Force Base.
The air show brings in hundreds of thousands of people into the base area to watch a number of acts and air entertainment.
The gates open at 8:00 a.m. with aerial performances at 11:15 a.m.
The best part is admission and parking are free.
If you're looking for areas to watch the show without being stuck in traffic, we recommend:
- Gadsden Park off MacDill Avenue,
- Balast Point Park
- Picnic Island Park.
