A 31-year-old man was found in the parking lot behind a pizza shop early this morning.
Now, authorities are searching for whoever wounded the man, who is recovering at a local hospital in critical condition.
Here's what happened, according to a release from the Temple Terrace Police Department:
Details are unclear, but police say the man was walking home from Lazy Brew Bar & Grill at 11401 N. 56th St. around 2 a.m. when the incident occurred. About five hours later, he was found lying on the ground by someone passing by. The man, whose identity is not being released at this time, was in the parking lot of Coca-Cola Enterprises, 5901 E. Fowler Ave.
Police say the shooting occurred nearby in an alley behind CiCi's Pizza, 5771 E. Fowler Ave.
He had been shot multiple times.
