Easter events for the kids

and last updated

Organizers for different weekend events around Tampa Bay set up for holiday gatherings in the rain on Friday.

Volunteers with Radiant Church were setting up for an Easter event on Saturday at Robinson High School in Tampa.

Lead Pastor Aaron Burke said they plan to have a helicopter drop thousands of eggs for kids starting at 9 a.m.

With potential rain in the forecast, they plan to still hold their event, "if it's overcast or drizzling, we will keep going with it. If there's lightning, we will postpone it a bit."
