The deadline to register to vote for the November election is three weeks away.

Hillary Clinton's campaign has posted sponsored advertisements on Facebook to remind voters that the deadline to register is soon.

The ad posts, "We can't win Florida without your help!"

The deadline to register is October 11th.

A reminder, here in Florida, information on your registration is public record.

Websites like voterrecord.com advertise themselves online as a place to study more than 50 million voter records for free.

The site operators can post your phone number, address, birthday, and party affiliation.

However, not many people realize that you can opt out of being highlighted on the sites.

On voter record, you can scroll down to the bottom, and look for "Record Opt Out."

That is just one website -- there are others out there like Flvoters.com with the same concept.

The Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections office told ABC Action News to get this changed, you would have to contact your local legislators to get a bill passed through the state legislature to make changes to the public record laws.
