Where's the cheese?
That's the question many people are asking after biting into a McDonald's mozzarella cheese stick and having their days quickly ruined.
Mozzarella cheese sticks were added to McDonald's menu in early January as part of its McPick 2 menu and have received favorable reviews from most customers. After all, it's pretty hard to beat 3 cheese sticks with sauce for just a buck.
However, it now appears that there is slight hiccup in the baking process. McDonald's says that in some cases, the cheese is melting out of the sticks. And that is making some people very, very sad.

McDonald's released the following statement in response to customer complaints:
"We are aware of a low volume of guest concerns about our Mozzarella Cheese Sticks. In these instances, we believe the cheese melted out during the baking process in our kitchens and shouldn't have been served. We apologize to any customers who may have been affected. We are working to fix this in our restaurants."
