The video is not clear enough to make out the facial features of the suspect, but the St. Petersburg Police Department hope viewing it will trigger leads in a string of arson cases.
Investigators say starting on Jan. 17, someone deliberately set a series of fires, all within the same area of the Crescent Lake neighborhood (see map below). Most of the cases were dumpster fires that spread and damaged nearby vehicles or structures.
Description: White male, age 19-26, with a goatee
Investigators believe the same arsonist set all, or most, of the fires, because of the similarity and proximity of the fires.
