PCSO searching for armed robbery suspect

A man was approached by a suspect Saturday in a wooded lot in the Poinciana area and was robbed.
 
Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in the investigation.
 
At approximately 2:12 pm, Saturday, the victim was approached by an unknown black male suspect in the wooded lot located to the north of Pine Street and Hemlock Avenue, in the Poinciana area of Polk County. 
 
The suspect brandished a handgun at the victim and demanded the victim’s property. The victim cooperated and the suspect fled the scene towards St. Johns Lane. The victim was uninjured.
 
The suspect is described to be a black male, possibly in his mid 20s, approximately 5’7”, 175 pounds. The suspect had brown eyes and was clean shaven. The suspect was wearing a black long sleeve shirt, blue jeans with fading, and a black beanie style hat.
