CLEARWATER, Fla- — A Clearwater man faces multiple child porn charges after being arrested late on Friday, December 18.
Clearwater Police charged Charles Daniel Paul 32, of Clearwater with 20 counts of possession of child pornography.
Police confirmed he was employed by the Pinellas County School District at Belleair Elementary as the food services manager.
He has since resigned from his job with the school district.
According to police, Paul is charged with transmitting more than 18,000 images of child pornography showing children being raped and abused in a sexual manner.
A search warrant was served at his home Thursday, December 18 and he was arrested the next day
Detectives say none of the images are children from the elementary school or from the local area.
