Crews freed a horse that was stuck in the mud Monday morning in The Acreage in Palm Beach County.
A tweet just after 9 a.m. from PBCFR showed about 10 people huddled around the horse in an effort to save its life.

A vet was called to the scene to sedate the horse sot hat firefighters could pull it from the mud.
It's unclear how the horse became stuck.
