The President/CEO of Tampa's Museum of Science & Industry has resigned.

Molly Demeulenaere had been with MOSI for five years, and was the CEO for the last two years.

"It has been an honor to serve MOSI these past five years and to impact the lives of the millions of guests who have come here to learn and explore during my time at MOSI," Demeulenaere said. "I am proud of what
we have accomplished as a team, serving our visitors and the Tampa Bay community as we pursued our mission of making a difference in people's lives by making science real."

MOSI says it will continue to move toward its next chapter as a vital science educational asset as it plans its relocation to Downtown Tampa.

A Board of Directors team will guide a search to appoint a new chief executive officer.

Until then, an executive team is in place to handle responsibilities in the interim.

MOSI says the public can show its support by visiting the museum and taking part in its summer camps and programs.
