Police are searching for two men who drove a pickup through the front doors of a Sevierville flea market and hauled away an ATM early Monday morning.
The burglary was reported about 5:30 a.m. at the Great Smokies Flea Market, 220 W. Dumplin Valley Road, just off Interstate 40, according to Sevierville Police Department spokesman Bob Stahlke.
The pickup, which was later confirmed to have been stolen, and the ATM were recovered Monday afternoon near Thorngrove Pike by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Stahlke said.
The truck and the machine had been set on fire, he said. It was not immediately clear whether the thieves were able to pull any cash from the machine.
