Detectives from the Highlands County Sheriff's Office have made an arrest in the murder of a 95-year-old man.
Dominick Demundo wasfound dead in his kitchen Monday afternoon when deputies stopped to do a welfare check at his home.
Highlands County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer, Nell Hays, described it as a violent and graphic scene.
Demundo was found with stab wounds and cuts to the upper body.
On Thursday, deputies located Lace Heflin, 37, at a bank in Sebring. Deputies said she was in possession of a wallet that did not belong to her, in addition to cocaine.
During questioning, deputies gathered enough evidence to charge her with First Degree Murder.

She is currently being held in the Highlands County Jail on no bond.
