It should be known later Saturday or early Sunday morning if there was a winner for Friday's jackpot. If no one matched all five numbers and the Mega Ball, then the jackpot will grow even larger for next Tuesday's drawing.
Friday nights drawing was the second largest drawing in U.S. lottery history after no one matched all six numbers in Tuesday night's drawing. The all-time largest lottery jackpot in American history was the $1.586.4 billion Powerball jackpot on January 13, 2016. That jackpot had three winning tickets, sold to residents in California, Florida and Tennessee.
