Advice to get you ready for hurricane season

Make sure you are ready for hurricane season. 

 

Experts at Lowe's said batteries, sand bags, wood and generators are some of the first items to sell out. 

 

Bruce Kestenbaum with Elder Insurance said to make sure you have flood protection on your homeowner's insurance. Protection included generally covers wind damage, but not water damage. 

Kestenbaum also advised taking photo inventory of your belongings and storing that information outside of your home, in case of any storm damage.
