Panera Bread at home soup recalled because it may contain plastic

Blount Fine Foods is recalling over 6,000 pounds of Panera Bread at home chicken tortilla soup because it may be contaminated with plastic.

The ready-to-eat soup was produced on April 26 and has a use by date of July 5, 2019 on the bottom. It also has the following lot codes printed on the bottom: 042619-3V or 042619-4V.

The recalled soup was shipped to Arizona, Florida and Georgia. This recall only impacts Panera Bread at Home products. It does not include any product sold at Panera Bread restaurants.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
