Cat food sold nationwide recalled over salmonella concern

Frozen bags of Quest Beef Cat Foot, sold by Go Raw LLC, are being recalled because it might be contaminated with salmonella, according to the FDA.

The 2lb frozen bags were sold across the country and are identified with the following UPC 6-91730-17101-8, Lot N128.

The FDA says Salmonella can affect animals eating the product as well as humans handling the product.

Pets with Salmonella infections may be lethargic and have diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever and vomiting. Humans should monitor themselves for nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramping and fever, the FDA says.
