Bluetooth speakers sold at Costco, Best Buy and Amazon recalled over impact hazard

Grace Digital is recalling thousands of ECOXGEAR EcoBoulder Bluetooth Speakers over an impact hazard because the battery can overcharge and burst.

According to the recall, there have been five reports of speaker batteries bursting. That includes two reports of property damage to the surrounding area. There have not been any injuries reported.

The speakers were sold nationwide at Costco from October 2016 to January 2017 and at Academy Sports, Cabela’s, Home Depot, Best Buy and Amazon from January 2018 through December 2018. They cost around $180.
