I wanted to find something very simple and did with "Fat Secret." It's free for Android and Apple devices and let's you track everything you eat and view how many calories it equates to. The fitness portion of the app is also very helpful, letting you view how many calories any type of activity will burn from grocery shopping to bicycling.
The "Lose It" app lets you set a goal and will give you a personalized plan. It's basically lets you know how many calories you can eat and how much exercise you must do.
We all love to take pictures of our food, right? "Lose It" has an easy scan feature, or you can track your meals by snapping a picture of it. You get an estimate of how many calories it is, and that is automatically added to your daily goal.
"Lose It" is also free and available on Apple and Android devices.
