Chipotle alerted customers on Tuesday about a data breach that may have allowed unauthorized access to customers' payment information.
Anyone who paid for their Chipotle meal with a credit card between March 24 and April 18 could be at risk due to this breach.
The company is currently investigating the situation but does believe that they have stopped the unauthorized activity. They have also added additional security measures.
In a post on their website, the company explained that they will be notifying any customers that were affected as they work to determine specific timeframes and restaurant locations that may have been affected.
The company recommends that customers should closely monitor their payment card statements and that they should notify their bank if they see any questionable charges.
