Friday, October 26

John’s Pass Seafood Festival

When: Oct. 26-28
Where: John's Pass at 12901 Gulf Boulevard, Madeira Beach

Info: The John’s Pass Seafood Festival is an annual festival held every October in the John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk in Madeira Beach. It has become one of the largest seafood festivals in the nation. The Festival usually includes live music, arts and crafts, and activities for children. The Festival includes seafood vendors from across the Southeast, including many outstanding local seafood restaurants. The John’s Pass Seafood Festival was voted the number one festival in Pinellas County. 

Sarasota Celtic Music Festival

When: Oct. 26-27
Where: Nathan Benderson Park at 5851 Nathan Benderson Circle, Sarasota 
Cost: $20 Admission | Free for Children 12 & Under
Info: Get ready for the Sarasota Celtic Music Festival! Experience a day of Celtic craft beer, food, games,  entertainment, and of course, live music. The stage will feature Seven Nations, Screaming Orphans, Fighting Jamesons, and many more. Tickets cost $20. Children 12 and under are free. 

River of Frights: Haunted Boat Tour

When: Oct. 26-28
Where: Tampa Riverwalk, Tampa
Cost: $25 Adults | $15 Children

On select nights in October, join the crew of the Pirate Water Taxi on an adventure to uncover the dark secrets hidden amongst the waterways of Tampa Bay. Legend of the Pumpkin King Fall Parade

Where: 7th Avenue in Ybor City

Info: Come to Ybor City this weekend for the Legend of the Pumpkin King Parade! The celebration will feature themed costume marchers, fantasy air puppets, candy for the kiddos and live performances. 

Saturday, October 27

Achieva Box Car Race

When: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Where: Downtown Clearwater at Cleveland Street and Osceola Avenue
Cost: Free
Info: Imagine racing down a hill in a home-built, gravity-powered car, surrounded by an excited crowd cheering you on toward the finish line. This is the scene for nearly eighty teams and thousands of spectators at the annual Achieva Box Car Rally in Downtown Clearwater as they race to support local schools! Viewers can enjoy unique races throughout the day with homemade cars built from surfboards, filing cabinets and anything in between, as well as sleek All-American Soap Box Derby style cars. 

Tampa Riverwalk Trick or Treat

When: 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. 
Where: Tampa Riverwalk
Cost: Free
Info: This free community event invites all children in costume and their families to come trick or treat on the Tampa Riverwalk! After the event, there will be a free showing of Addams Family at Water Works Park.  

Tampa’s Halloween Bar Crawl

When: 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Where: Franklin Manor at 912 North Franklin Street, Tampa 
Cost: $25
Info: Tampa's Halloween Bar Crawl is your time to shine! Grab your scariest costume and get ready to drink with ghouls and goblins. The Crawler Bus will shuttle you on Saturday from Franklin Manor, Platt Street Borough, District Tavern and The Hall on Franklin. Bring your crew, make new friends, discover new places, win cool stuff and have a good old time! Each bar will feature a free shot, drink and food specials, bar games and raffle tickets.
