Hockey season is here! Come watch the Tampa Bay Lightning host the Florida Panthers during the season opener at Amalie Arena on Friday. The Sunshine State matchup begins at 7:30 p.m.
Hilarious comedian Bill Burr is coming to downtown St. Petersburg for one night only! Burr will be performing at The Mahaffey Theater Friday night at 7 p.m. Tickets begin at $42.50.
Get ready to jam out! Band of Horses will be performing at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg on Friday night starting at 8 p.m. General admission costs $29.50.
Perfect for dog lovers of all ages, the NY Dog Film Festival will feature two programs, each of which a different medley of documentary, animated and live-action short canine-themed films from around the world. The NY Dog Film Festival is a philanthropic celebration of the love between dogs and people. Attendees are encouraged to bring their dogs as their movie dates! Well-mannered dogs are welcome and required to have their own tickets, with 100% of the dog ticket going to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Tampa Bay Waterworks Park Friday evening.
Calling all ink lovers! The 4th Annual Tampa Tattoo Arts Convention kicks off for a weekend-long event at the Tampa Convention Center. Special contestants from Ink Master will also be there. All ages are welcome and tickets cost $20.

The 27th Annual SPCA Tampa Bay Pet Walk fundraiser helps raise thousands of dollars and spreads awareness for the needs of pets and wildlife in our community. This family-friendly event boasts music, food, demonstrations, contests, adoptable animals, representatives from local rescues, great shopping and more! Come join the fun with live music and plenty of beer selection at the corner of Palm and Nebraska in Ybor City. This pet-friendly event is free to attend.
Support breast cancer research and celebrate the color pink with a 5K or 10K! The race begins Sunday morning at 6:15 a.m. at Del Oro Park in Clearwater.
