Our pet of the week is nothin' but a hound dog who might enjoy a nibble on some blue suede shoes. Zeke is an 8-month-old Hound/Trotter mix that comes from Second Chance Friends Rescue.
He is a typical puppy that is full of energy. Zeke is not quite house trained. He needs to some learn indoor manners and basic obedience. He is very treat motivated and with a little patience and training, he would be an awesome addition to your family.
The good news for a potential owner, Zeke will calm down for quiet time and love to snuggle.
Second Chance Friends reports Zeke is friendly with people and other dogs. Because Zeke is very curious and can jump really high, he would do best in a home with a tall backyard fence.
Zeke would do great with in a family with kids at least of elementary school age. He has not been tested to see what his reaction is to cats.
If your home is ready for a dog that loves to play, Zeke is your boy.
