Pet of the week: 'Biscuit' needs a second chance at life

and last updated

Our pet of the week comes from Second Chance Friends Rescue. Biscuit is a Chihuahua mix who had a small infraction that got him into trouble.

He was on the euthanasia list at Hillsborough County Animal Service after he bit a woman who picked him up and was kissing his face.

Since he arrived in his foster home Biscuit has not had any problems.

Second Chance recommends he goes to a home with older kids or just adults.

Biscuit does have some unique traits. He is vocal about everything and makes cute little love whines when you give him attention. He also walks with a slight limp likely caused by a previous injury that never healed correctly.

Biscuit prefers dogs his own size. He will tolerate larger dogs but will yell at them when they get too close.

Second Chances says Biscuit prefers men, but does fine with women. He enjoys playing with toys, loves to cuddle and would be the perfect lap dog as he does not require much exercise.
