PLANTERSVILLE, Texas — A missing Grimes County boy has been found after being reported missing for four days.

Christopher Ramirez, 3, was found near the Crown Ranch subdivision.

According to law enforcement, a property owner had just returned home from Bible study when he decided to look for the child.

After initially not finding him, the property owner was heading back inside when he heard noises coming from the woods.

The property owner contacted local officials before running towards the sounds — and discovered the boy naked.

Law enforcement arrived and found the property owner carrying Ramirez to the front.

"I made a crack yesterday. I said, 'We're gonna solve this by two o'clock on Saturday,'" Grimes County Judge Joe Fauth said. "Well, thank you, dear Lord. We solved it two hours early."

Ramirez has been reunited with his mother and transported to Texas Children's in The Woodlands for further medical evaluation.

When initially examined, CHI St. Joseph medics determined Ramirez to only be experiencing mild dehydration.

"He's gonna get to come home and he's going to get to play with his toys," said Chuck Fleeger, executive director, Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley. "All these other agencies showed us what good things can happen when people come together to do the right thing."

Forty-eight different agencies took part in helping find Ramirez, an effort that lasted for over 70 hours.

The property owner who found Ramirez wishes to remain anonymous, according to Grimes County Sheriff Don Sowell.

While speaking with the county sheriff, the property owner shared he believes God spoke to him and said he was capable of finding the missing boy.

Ramirez was first reported missing on Oct. 6 after his mother claimed he disappeared after reportedly chasing a dog.
