Pasco County school district is asking for public help in naming a new elementary school.
The new school is scheduled to open in August near on Mansfield Boulevard across the street from Dr. John Long Middle School.
If you'd like to make a submission, there are a few guidelines:
- If a name, it should be a person of prominence, an outstanding civil or educational leader
- If a school board employee or elected official, it must be a person either deceased for two years or out of office/employment with the district for two years.
- Suggestions will be accepted until February 29
