HUDSON, Fla. — Three Pasco County children have decided to give their Christmas away. The children asked their parents to help other families and children in need.

Jeff Burow's three children decided to raise money for a domestic violence shelter and the Salvation Army. As a young boy, the children's father witnessed domestic violence in his home.

Burow's children, ages 14, 13, and 9, told their parents they do not want presents this year.

"I love helping other people and I really thought well I have clothes, my parents give me food. I have enough. I have a piano. I play the piano. I don't really need or want anything else. I thought instead of getting, we can give," said 14-year-old Kennadie Burow.

Burow will ride his bicycle 310 miles from Weeki Wachee in Hernando County to Cocoa Beach in Brevard County and back.

The family also has a fundraising goal of $10,000. To learn more visit the family's GoFundMe page.

The family is asking for families to email them so they can select two families and give them presents.
