The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is now offering up some cool prizes for removing pythons from the Everglades ecosystem.
Previously, we reported that you can get paid to hunt for the pythons in South Florida. The South Florida Water Management District has already picked their 25 participants who will work with land managers to implement the program for two months. Check them out here.
Well, now the FWC says anyone can submit pythons as part of their Python Pickup Program. Learn more about the program here.

How do you submit proof of a python so that you can win some cool prizes?
The FWC says that you just have to submit proof that you have removed a python by supplying them with pictures. After humanely euthanizing a python, just take a couple photos that show the snake has been euthanized, it can be identified as a Burmese python and a GPS unit that clearly shows the date and location of the capture. Send those photos to Pythons@MyFWC.com with Python Pickup in the subject line. In the email, include your name, phone number, mailing address, date of capture and GPS location of the capture. Include your t-shirt size with your first emailed submission and don't forget to attack your proof of python photos. The FWC says Python Removal Permit holders can turn in live pythons. So, what can you win if you submit proof of a python being caught? You'll receive a t-shirt for your first catch and then for each proof of python submitted, you'll be entered to win the monthly prize as well as the grand prize, a Florida Lifetime Sportsman's License.
