RecruitMilitary wants to make sure veterans and active duty military members can find good paying civilian jobs.

The organization is teaming up with Disabled American Veterans to host a job fair at Amalie Arena in downtown Tampa on Thursday, July 21. Hundreds of veterans, military members, guardsmen, reservists and their spouses are expected to attend the event.

"RecruitMilitary job fairs maintain a track record of helping veterans find meaningful employment," said President and CEO Peter Gudmundsson.

Dozens of people who participated in a RecruitMilitary job fair in Tampa in August 2015 ended up receiving job offers.

Companies and agencies sending representatives to Thursday's event include: Apple, G4S Secure Solutions, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Bright House Networks, Federal Aviation Administration, Lockheed Martin, Northwestern Mutual, Sherwin-Williams, St. Petersburg Police, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and Massey Services.

Thursday's job fair runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
