Students at University of South Florida received an alert on Friday morning about an armed home invasion off campus, north of Fletcher Avenue at the intersection of 37th Street and Heritage Club Drive.

Hillsborough County deputies responded to the scene after the initial call came in around 9:33 a.m.

The second suspect was described as a 20-year-old Hispanic male 5'8" and 160 lbs. He was wearing a black hoodie and jeans, and also had some facial hair.

Police say the motive appears to be drug related.

There were no injures reported.
