Manatee County Government, Constitutional Offices hosting hiring expo on Thursday

The Manatee County Government and Constitutional Offices are hosting a hiring expo on Thursday, October 5 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bradenton Area Convention Center located at One Haben Boulevard in Palmetto. 

The County has more than 100 job openings including: 

  • Bus Operators/Transit Attendants
  • Administrative Support
  • Industrial Controls Technicians
  • School Crossing Guards
  • Law Enforcement Deputies
  • Inspections Officers
  • Project Management/Project Engineers
  • Accounting and Finance 
  • 911 Emergency dispatchers
  • Utility Workers
  • Convention Center Staff
  • Counter Associates (Tax Collector)
  • Transportation Planners
  • Operations and Maintenance Workers

"The County is expanding, this coupled with over 500 current employees set to retire in the next three to five years, there has never been a better time to explore a long-term career in County Government," said Joe Spain, HR Talent Recruiter. "The hiring expo will also have CareerSource Suncoast on site to help candidates with resume writing and interview tips along with their mobile job unit so applicants can apply on site, with many programs doing on site interviews and hiring."

Job seekers who visit the hiring expo should dress professionally or come as you are from work and to bring several copies of a resume to leave with potential employers.
