A giant rattlesnake was spotted in Polk County and the photo will make your skin crawl.
Cathy Terry shared the photo with ABC Action News and called the snake, the "World's Fattest Rattlesnake."
She tells ABC Action News that she spotted the snake a few miles south of Bartow just a few weeks ago. She says she was lucky she looked down from the windows of her truck before getting out or she would have stepped right on the big guy.
Cathy shared the photo as an alert to others in Polk County. She says "People think gators are all they need to watch out for? Wrong! Be safe, STAY ALERT!!!!"
