Give Day Tampa Bay’s website provider has been down, forcing the group behind the fundraiser to create a substitute website.
About 600 nonprofits, many of them small, rely on the money raised on Give Day.
"Unfortunately the website hasn't work for anybody across the country," Wilma Norton with Community Foundation of Tampa Bay said. "We can't let down our nonprofits that have worked so hard today."
Users of the substitute website will receive an email after donating in order to properly designate their gift.
