Jessica Alba’s The Honest Company has issued a voluntary recall of its baby wipes due to a possible mold contamination.

The company shared the news on its website Friday, noting that the following products may be affected:

  • 10 count packages, UPC 0817810011276, 0816645024079, 0817810011276
  • 72 count packages, UPC 0817810011863, 7000000011863, 0816645023584, 0816645023591
  • 288 count packages, UPC 0817810014680
  • 576 count packages, UPC 0817810028540

The company stated that “wipes are also included in Honest Diaper Cakes, Baby Basics Gift Set and Baby Arrival Gift Set,” so be sure to check any packages included with those as well.

To see if you have a possibly affected product, visit the Honest website and enter the lot number from your wipes.

You can find the lot number on the back of the package.

The company explained the reason for the recall, noting that the mold is not like to cause “adverse health consequences”:

Certain lots of these Wipes are being voluntarily recalled due to the possible presence of mold. We believe the affected product is not likely to cause adverse health consequences, however, impacted wipes do have a spotted discoloration and the aesthetics are unacceptable. Out of an abundance of caution, The Honest Company has decided to voluntarily recall certain lots of this product.

If you have an affected package of wipes, Honest says to return them to your point of purchase for a full refund. Got questions? You can call the company at 888-862-8818 Monday – Friday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST.
