If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend, there's plenty of action happening around the Tampa Bay area. 

¡Cinco de Mayo!

AY AY AY! Grab your sombrero and have the lime and salt handy becauserestaurants, breweries, bars and more in Tampa Bay are celebrating Cinco de Mayo. With tasty tacos and thirst-quenching margaritas available throughout the area, there’s never been a better time to have a fiesta!

2017 Riverfest

It’s time for the third annual celebration of Tampa’s Riverwalk! With exciting activities, live entertainment and food festivals throughout the weekend-long festivity, the 2017 Tampa Riverfest will certainly deliver the sights and sounds of downtown Tampa. From hotdog eating contests and wiener dog races, to the Hot Air Balloon Glow and free concerts, Riverfest has something everyone can enjoy. Riverfest runs both Saturday and Sunday.

Maker’s Mark Derby Crawl

Grab a big hat and get your derby wear ready, the Maker’s Derby Crawl provides an exciting way to experience the Kentucky Derby in Tampa. A bar crawl complete with an exclusive watch party, Derby-inspired bar games, best dressed competition, live music, amazing prizes and raffle giveaways. The crawl begins Saturday, May 6 at 2 p.m.

Bad A** Beerfest

What’s better than beer? Local beer, of course! The Bad A** Beerfest will feature the rare chance to sample your favorite local craft beers all in one place. Tampa Bay breweries and homebrewing clubs are welcome to feature their best beer for all the guests. You can pick up tickets for $35 online or at Tampa Bay Brewing Company. The event kicks off at TBBC Westchase on Saturday, May 6th from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m.

First Friday St. Pete

It’s the first Friday of the month, so you know it’s time to head down to St. Pete for live music, art vendors, local food and delicious drinks. The event kicks off on Central Avenue between 2nd and 3rd Street from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. Admission is free, so what are you waiting for?
