We hope you put "stop by the Angel Tree" on your holiday list this year. ABC Action News is proud, once again, to join with the Salvation Army to take action for local families in need. With your help, we have brightened the lives of thousands of children who, otherwise, would have no gifts to open during the holidays.
This year the need is greater than ever. The Salvation Army's Angel Tree is a purely volunteer-driven program - with people from all over Tampa Bay donating toys, time and expertise. This program is a testament to the power of people coming together to help their neighbors in need. Families living at or below the Federal Poverty level are eligible to register their children for the program. Paper Angels are available starting in November.
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO JOINED US

It's Easy to Help Local Families in Need!
All Gifts Must Be Dropped off by December 9, 2016 for the WFTS location.
Throughout the months of November and December, The Salvation Army needs hundreds of elves (volunteers) on weekdays, weeknights and Saturdays to prepare the Holiday Toyshop and Angel Tree gifts for distribution to needy families. Volunteers are also needed to partner with these families on the day of distribution to help them pick up their children's gifts and food for holiday meals. Your group can volunteer all day or a portion of the day.
