Wilfred weakened into a trough of low pressure, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Monday morning.
Wilfred became the 21st named storm of the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season.

According to the NHC's 5 a.m. update, Wilfred is 1,555 miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands with winds of 35 mph. The storm is moving west at 17 mph.
NHC said there will be no more advisories on Wilfred.
