TAMPA, Fla. — Buccaneer's offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich joked that he might have to use running backs coach Todd McNair as a running back for their game against Chicago.

Running back LeSean McCoy is out with an ankle injury and running back Leonard Fournette is listed as doubtful (ankle). Receiver Justin Watson is out (chest), and fellow receivers Mike Evans (ankle) and Scotty Miller (hip/groin) are listed as questionable.

"We’re aware of where we’re at, we trust in the guys that we do have in there and we’ll just have to see," Leftwich said. "I know we love every guy in the room. Every guy in the room we trust and believe in. We’ll just have to see what happens.”

Regardless of who plays, the Bucs will turn to quarterback Tom Brady for veteran leadership and he's happy to embrace the challenge of being a captain to his new teammates.

"I want to show up and be the best for my teammates every day. I know they count on me to be dependable and consistent," Brady said. "They depend on me to be a great player for the team and I want to deliver for them."

The Bucs (3-1) face the Bears (3-1) in Chicago Thursday night at 8:20 p.m. for Thursday Night Football.
