Antonio Morrison arrested: University of Florida player accused of resisting arrest

Morrison arrested for second time in five weeks

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - A Florida football player barks at a dog and lands in jail.

University of Florida Gators linebacker Antonio Morrison is accused of barking at a K-9 dog early Sunday morning, then resisting arrest.

Investigators say Morrison barked at the dog, named "Bear", near Gainesville, diverting the dog's attention from an investigation.

Morrison also resisted attempts to handcuff him, according to investigators.

It's Morrison's second arrest in five weeks, and he's now suspended for two regular season games.

Morrison is charged with "interfering with a K-9" and resisting arrest.

Both charges are misdemeanors.

A judge released Morrison on his own recognizance.
