More Than 200 Protesters Will Face Felony Charges In D.C.

More than 200 protesters will face felony rioting charges after anti-Trump protests on Inauguration Day turned violent

In Washington, D.C., the sentence for felony rioting can be up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $25,000.

Six officers suffered minor injuries, three of which were head wounds. 

During a series of arraignment hearings Saturday, a judge saw many protesters in groups of 10. 

Defense attorneys argued there wasn't proof that everyone arrested was involved with the violence, but each protester was charged individually.
