TAMPA - A 22-year-old Tampa man was arrested after police say a conflict with construction workers over noise ended in gun shots.
The incident happened Wednesday morning at 706 Fribley Street around 11 a.m.
A dispute broke out between a resident living at 704 West Fribley Street and construction workers pouring concrete at the 706 address.
The resident confronted the workers about the noise, complaining their truck was too loud.
Officials say the resident and the workers exchanged words. The resident then got in his car, left, then returned with several more people and the argument picked back up.
One of the people associated with resident who lived at 704 W. Fribley Street fired a gun and the group fled.
Everyone involved in the incident was interviewed, and officials determined the gunman was 22-year-old Dontez Coleman.
He was taken into custody and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm.
