Family searching for husband wanted in murder of Ashley Atherley

TAMPA - The family of Ashley Atherley is seeking the public's help locating her husband and alleged killer, Edly Atherley.

Ashley, 28, was found December 1, stabbed inside the bathroom of her home in San Bernardino, California. Local police issued an arrest warrant for her husband, who is the primary suspect in the case. 

Police responded to the family's home after family called concerned about her wellbeing. They had not heard from her in several days.

Sunday morning, Ashley's mother and father joined ABC Action News in studio to try to bring attention to their daughter's case. 

Her parents state there was a history of domestic violence in the marriage.

The couple has two young children who are in a safe location. 

Ashley's parent's believe Atherley could be with family in Texas, Beliz, or more locally, the Orlando area. 

Anyone with information on Atherley's whereabouts are asked to police. He is believed to be extremely dangerous.
