If you're driving around downtown Tampa on Thanksgiving, take note of this closure:
Part of Bayshore Boulevard will close on Thursday, Nov. 24 for the Goody Goody Turkey Gobble 5K Run.
Bayshore will close in both directions from Howard Avenue to Brorein Street, and the Platt Street Bridge and Channelside Drive will be closed from Bayshore to Brorein Street.
Closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 24
Use a detour if you're headed in that direction.
