ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A person has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of a man outside of the Member's Only Club in St. Petersburg.
St. Petersburg police officers arrested Jonathan Christopher Tucker, 32, on Thursday.
Police officers responded to the nightclub on 16th Street South around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday after reports of shots fired in the parking lot.
When they arrived, officers were told that a man, who appeared to be in his 20s, had been driven by private vehicle to an area hospital.
The man, later identified as Brennan-Aire D. Williams, 28, died at the hospital a short time later.
Investigators believe that an argument led to the shooting in front of the club.
Tucker was taken into custody faces a felony 2nd-degree murder charge.
Police say that the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
