Pinellas County deputies say a black male with a medium build, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and jeans entered City Food Market at 5028 66th Street N., and confronted the clerk at the counter.
The suspect demanded money and indicated he had a gun in his sweatshirt, but no gun was seen.
The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt.
The suspect was seen leaving the store parking lot in a mid-size, late model, white, four-door vehicle.
An armed robbery occurred at the same store on March 27. Deputies are investigating to see how or if the incidents are related.
