MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — The man accused of shooting his co-worker in Lakewood Ranch has turned himself in, according to deputies.
Earlier in the day, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office asked for the public's help in locating 31-year-old Courtenay Johnson. Before he turned himself in, Johnson was on the run after he shot a co-worker multiple times after an argument.
The 32-year-old co-worker is in serious condition at Blake Medical Center.
Deputies responded to the shooting at Davie & Valenti Movers in Lakewood Ranch just after 10 a.m. on Saturday. Witnesses told deputies Johnson and his co-worker got into an argument on a loading dock on the side of the building before shots were fired.
The co-worker suffered multiple gunshot wounds, according to deputies.
