PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — A 69-year-old man was arrested Thursday for lewd and lascivious battery on a woman who suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia, according to an arrest report.
Peter Brunton enticed or forced the victim to engage in sex and other activities, the report says. It also states that Brunton knew the victim either lacked the capacity to consent or that she didn't give consent.
After his arrest Brunton told authorities he would encourage the victim to "have some fun" and reward her with chocolate, the report shows.
Brunton lived with the victim and took care of her, according to the report.
He was arrested on the charge of lewd and lascivious battery of an elderly or disabled person. No other information was immediately available.
