PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Pasco County deputies are searching for an "armed and dangerous" suspect who reportedly stole an AR-15 rifle from a home in New Port Richey.

PCSO says that Julio Gonzalez, 49, fled from a home on Biloxi Drive on Sunday after stealing two firearms, to include a Stag Arms AR-15 rifle with tan grips and stock, with possibly three loaded 30 round magazines, and a Taurus .357 snub nose revolver.

Gonzalez is 6-feet-tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is in the 200 block of 83rd Avenue N, St. Petersburg.

"Gonzalez should be considered to be armed and dangerous," PCSO said in a press release on Wednesday.

Probable cause for his arrest include charges of domestic battery, false imprisonment, grand theft of firearms, and grand theft.

If anyone sees him or knows his whereabouts they are asked to call 911 immediately.
