Pasco County deputies say a New Port Richey mom was tased by her son during an argument

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla - An argument between a New Port Richey mother and her son ended when the teen used a stun gun on his mom, Pasco County deputies say.

Chase Foster, 18, is facing domestic battery and resisting arrest charges.

According to deputies, the mother and son were fighting inside their home on Smokey Lake Loop Tuesday when Foster grabbed a stun gun and tased his mother in the arm.

The deputies say the mother had injuries consistent with being tased.

When deputies arrived, they say Foster tried running away.

He was arrested and taken to the Land O' Lakes Jail.

He is being held on $50,000 bond.
