Pasco County deputies say a man threatened to bomb his place of employment

HOLIDAY, Fla - "I have a bomb! I am going to blow up your [expletive] store."

Pasco County deputies say that is what a man told his manager over the phone Wednesday.

Bobby Arnold, 31, of 3547 Delta Place, Holiday, is now charged with threatening to discharge a destructive device.

According to an arrest affidavit,  Arnold was recently asked to resign from the Sheriff's Office Youth Ranch and has been making threats to one of the employees.

Hours after the threats were made, deputies say they had to evacuate two nearby businesses as a precaution.

Deputies say when they spotted Arnold in the parking lot he took off in a car.

Arnold was pulled over a short time later.

He reportedly admitted to making the phone call and the threats when questioned by deputies.

An arrest affidavit states that Arnold apologized for his actions and explained 'he was not thinking when he made the statement.'

Arnold is currently being held in the Land O' Lakes Detention Center.
