Deputies locate missing 13-year-old girl in Pasco County

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl.

UPDATE | The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says she has been located.

HUDSON, Fla. — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl.

Mya Steinhart, 13, left her friend's home on the 7100 block of Florestate Drive shortly before 1:30 a.m., according to deputies.

Mya is 5'8", weighs 90 pounds and has blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a maroon top, jeans and no shoes.

Deputies said she may be walking around barefoot.

If you see Mya or know where she may be you should call 911 immediately.
